Bill Holdren
About Bill
Having founded his first agency in 1965, Bill will immediately assume that he’s been selling property and casualty insurance longer than you’ve been alive. Seven times out of ten, he’ll be right. After decades running his firm, Holdren Insurance Agency, Bill Holdren finally agreed to join forces with a tough and respected rival. Luckily, that rival was Wood Gutmann & Bogart, and both parties are benefiting from this powerhouse combination of experience and resources – as are their clients.
Bill has specialized in risk management for companies in industries such as manufacturing, wholesaling, bonding and especially construction. In fact, he’s helped his construction clients insure their work on such high profile Southern California projects as Disney Concert Hall, The Forum, The Getty Museum, The Orange County Performing Arts Center and UCLA Medical Center.
While Bill prides himself on never having had a bond claim – and being able to bond projects that others couldn’t – the real feather in his cap has been his ability to retain many of his clients for 40 years or more. The secret to this success, he says, is to “always be available.”
